Studio Policies

To ensure the best experience for every client, please take a moment to review these policies before your appointment.

Booking

Consultation Policy

All new clients are required to complete a consultation before any service is booked. This allows me to review your hair history, understand your goals, assess your hair's current condition, and build a realistic plan together.

Consultations can be requested through the contact form. Please include a photo of your natural hair so I can come prepared. I will follow up within 24 hours to discuss next steps and schedule your first appointment.

Returning clients may book directly online without a consultation unless they are requesting a new service type (such as extensions for the first time), in which case a brief consultation is recommended.

Scheduling

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible so the appointment slot can be offered to another client.

48 hours or more: No charge. You are welcome to reschedule at no cost.

Within 24 hours: A fee of 50% of the scheduled service will be charged. This must be settled before a new appointment can be booked.

Same day cancellation: This is treated as a no-show and a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service will be charged.

Attendance

No-Show Policy

A no-show is when a client misses their scheduled appointment without any prior notice. Out of respect for my time and other clients waiting for availability, the following applies:

First no-show: A fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service will be charged. This must be paid in full before rebooking.

Second no-show: The client may be removed from the booking system and will need to reach out directly to discuss whether future appointments can be accommodated.

If you are unable to reach me before your appointment, please send a text or email as soon as possible. Communication is always appreciated.

Timing

Late Arrival Policy

Please plan to arrive on time. This is a private, one-on-one studio with back-to-back appointments, so late arrivals directly impact the schedule for everyone.

Up to 15 minutes late: I will do my best to accommodate you, though the service may need to be adjusted to fit the remaining time.

More than 15 minutes late: This is considered a no-show unless other arrangements have been made in advance. The no-show policy will apply and a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service will be charged before rebooking.

If you are running late, please text (919) 444-2266 as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.

Payments

Deposit Policy

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment, particularly for longer services such as extensions, full color transformations, or appointments booked during peak times.

Deposit amounts will be communicated at the time of booking and are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation within 48 hours or a no-show.

Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service. If your appointment is rescheduled with sufficient notice, the deposit will carry over to your new appointment date.

Studio Environment

Children in the Studio

To maintain a safe, focused environment for all clients, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the studio unless they are receiving a service themselves.

This policy is in place due to the limited space of the studio and the presence of professional tools, chemicals, and equipment that pose safety risks to young children. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you make appropriate childcare arrangements prior to your appointment.
